My decorative wall painting services include all preparation work such as sanding, scraping and patching, primer and base coats. My glaze techniques include sponging, ragging, dragging, stripes, marbleizing and wood graining. I paint murals and trompe l'oeil paneling, trellis work and stone work.

     On furniture, decorative painting possibilities are endless. I try to enhance the appearance of a piece while remaining faithful to the integrity of the original designer/maker. I also keep in mind its use and the decor in which it will reside. I employ many traditional methods of painting including marbleizing, wood graining, trompe l'oeil, gilding, antiqueing, and distressing.

     As a sideline to decorative painting, I custom design mirror frames crafted in papier mache.

     Design consulting requires a close collaboration between you, the client, and myself. I will meet with you to discuss your desires and requirements. Then, I will develop a scheme to make your vision a reality.

     To maximize the function of the room I can advise on the placement of furnishings. To create a mood I can advise on colours and lighting. To create a look I can advise on wall treatments, floor coverings, window treatments, furniture and accessories.

     In my paintings I seek to capture the harmony of colours and patterns found throughout the natural world. My paintings are three dimensional, colourful and sensual.
