Although quite handsome this dresser had seen better days. I decided that it should be painted in a traditional fashion typical of painted furniture produced in early 19th century Pennsylvania. In this case I put a modern twist on the faux bois finish and used shades of gray which perfectly matched the decor in which the dresser was to reside. The end result is a classic, giving the dresser a sophisticated new look.
